Taken from the Icelandic collection this piece is inspired by the basalt beaches of Vik in Southern Iceland. Thrown and textured from black Onyx porcelain and poured with a copper green gloss glaze inside and on the rim. The glazes combine in the kiln to create a beautifully fluid, lava effect flowing down the moon jar form. Striking as a stand alone piece, vase or as part of a collection. Dimensions 7cm x 26cm.
