Using traditional Korean methods of throwing and joining two halves of a bowl together make the moon jar and then distorting the shape to create a totally new form. Thrown in onyx black porcelain and glazed with a combination of tenmoku, copper green, cobalt and rutile glazes, dipped and poured, with a kintsugi detail. Inspired by rock formations of the Northumberland coast near Cullernose Point. Exhibited at Future Icons Selects. Dimensions 7cm x 26cm.
