Thrown in white textured stoneware and inspired by the jurassic limestone layers of the Algarve coastline and caves. Glazed with a combination of copper green, cobalt blue and rutile. Maca is Portuguese for apple, the shape being reminiscent of an apple. The turquoise waters reflected by the glaze, juxtaposed against the rock like colour of the bare clay. 8cm x 35cm. Featured in Future Icons Selects for London Craft Week.
